ANY REASON FOR DIFFICULTIES AND THEIR CORRECTION

Not Getting Sufficient Food or Sleep

Just as being well fed and well rested are requirements for training, so they are for auditing. Not getting enough sleep while auditing can slow one’s progress and keep one’s attention on the body. The preclear should get seven or eight hours of sleep a night (or more if he needs it) to ensure he is well rested.

Snacking on soft drinks and chips instead of nutritious meals with plenty of vegetables and protein is also a mistake. If the preclear feels run-down or has attention on his body, he will have less attention to give to the processes in session. To get the most gains, one’s concentration has to be on the process.
